Video 3 creating the borders and corners
vidéo en streaming organisation du chantier

As with a jigsaw puzzle, begin by creating the borders first, both the corners and the round hatches, and create a template as demonstrated........

With the longer border strips, remove the tongue as this is not required.

You will notice here that we are creating a border round a hatch.

First sand off the glossy finish on all the round over or raised edges Teak-it-Easy extrusions.

When cutting pieces for a corner create a radiused edge by cutting into the edge and then sand down to give the same texture as the other strips.

Make sure that the radiused edge lies on the inside of any curved pieces to match the straight edge planks.  This will give the edge a wood grain appearance consistent with the surface of Teak-it-Easy.

You will find it easier to do this before the project starts than once the margins have been glued.  Once all the borders have been dry fixed in place, mask off the inside of the border plank.  This is to ensure that any excess glue can be easily removed.
