Before carrying out any filling or sanding, a proprietary degreasing spray should be used on the deck surface to ensure it is..........

 clean where dirt would prevent the adhesive from sticking. 

Decks should first be fair and level in order to avoid showing any undulations once the Tek Decking has been laid down. 

Small areas need to be lightly keyed and faired to remove low points or undulations in the deck. Using an all purpose body filler, ensure any recesses are filled, smoothed off and sanded down to a flat even finish. 

Once sanded, it is very important to sweep away any dust and debris and make sure the surface is absolutely clean.
